Privacy policy
Effective 24 October 2026. This policy covers the PagarOK Android app on Google Play, the iOS app, the workspace at web.pagarok.com, and this website.
PagarOK is employee software. Your employer (or the company that created the workspace) decides what is recorded for its staff. PagarOK stores and shows that information so the company can run attendance, leave, and payroll. We do not sell personal data.
Data the apps and workspace use
Depending on the plan and the features your company turns on, PagarOK may process:
- Identity and contact details: name, employee code, work email, mobile number, photo, and role.
- Account credentials: the login your company issues for the app or web.pagarok.com.
- Attendance: punch time, site, shift, and whether the punch was from a supervisor, a biometric device, a photo, or a face check-in.
- Camera: a photo or face image when you mark attendance with photo or face check-in. The camera is used for that punch, not for background recording.
- Location: precise or approximate location when photo check-in or a geofence is on, so the punch can be limited to the right place. Location is collected at check-in, not as a continuous track.
- Employment and pay records: leave, shifts, advances, loans, salary figures, slips, and bank details if your company stores them for a payment file.
- Device and app data: app version, device type, and diagnostic logs needed to sign in, sync, and fix failures.
- Messages you send us: support mail and, on this website, a demo request.
Why we use it
- To show attendance, leave, slips, and approvals to the people your company allows.
- To calculate or export salary figures your company reviews.
- To send punch, leave, or payment alerts the company has switched on.
- To keep the apps signed in, secure, and working.
- To answer a demo or support request.
We do not use employee attendance or salary data for advertising, and we do not sell it to data brokers.
Who can see it
People in your company’s workspace see what their role allows. A supervisor may see attendance without seeing salary. HR and owners may see payroll records. We share data with hosting and messaging providers only so they can run the service under our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if your company asks us to export its own records.
How long it is kept
Workspace records stay for as long as the company account is active, and for the period the company or the law requires for payroll and attendance. Support emails are kept long enough to handle the request. Demo emails sent from this website stay in that mailbox until we no longer need them.
Delete your account or data
You can ask us to delete your PagarOK login and the personal data tied to it. Email hello@pagarok.com from the address on the account, with the subject “PagarOK account deletion request”, your name, and your company name.
If your employer created the account, we confirm the request with that company where we need to. We delete or return the data they control according to their instruction and the law. We may keep a limited record when we must, for example a payroll entry the company is required to retain, or a note that we handled a deletion request.
This page is the public place to start that request. You do not need to be signed in.
Permissions on Android
The Play Store app asks only for permissions the feature needs:
- Camera, for photo or face check-in.
- Location, for a geofenced or location-checked punch.
- Notifications, for attendance, leave, or payment alerts.
- Internet, to sync with your company workspace.
You can deny a permission in Android settings. The related check-in or alert will not work until it is allowed. Other parts of the app still open.
Security
The apps and workspace are reached over encrypted connections. Access inside a company follows roles, so one shared password is not how the product is meant to be used. No method of storage is perfect. Use the login your company gave you and do not share it.
Children
PagarOK is workplace software for employers and their staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
This website
The demo form asks for your name, company, city, mobile number, work email, employee range, and an optional note. This site does not store that form on a server. It opens an email to hello@pagarok.com so you can send it yourself. This marketing site does not set tracking cookies beyond Google Tag Manager when that script is active.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. Continued use of the apps after the new date means the updated policy applies. For a material change we will also give notice in the app or by email where we have a contact address.
